Born on January 23, 1936, I experienced a childhood deeply intertwined with the aromatic world of coffee, thanks to the influence of my father. His principles left an indelible mark on me, fostering a love for coffee that would become a cherished part of my life.

 The anticipation of the coffee harvest season was a thrilling time for our family. Rising early in the morning, I eagerly awaited a steaming cup of coffee from my mother, setting the stage for
the day's adventure in the coffee fields. Clad in knee-high socks and yellow rubber boots, I joined in the excitement of the bustling harvest.

During this busy season, my father maintained a hectic schedule, stressing the importance of overseeing the correct harvesting of the beans. He believed every minute counted, asserting that a good cup of black coffee was the key to productivity. Energized by the rich brew, the workers engaged in lively conversations while picking coffee cherries, turning the laborious task into a joyful communal experience.

In the coffee plantation, amidst the meticulous counting of cans and the disbursement of daily wages, the atmosphere remained light-hearted. My father's infectious humor infused a sense of joy into the day, making the work seem less arduous. Inspired by him, I aspired to carry on this legacy of happiness, envisioning a future where I could maintain the same cheerful spirit.

Café David 507 was born as a tribute to these cherished memories of my father's smiles. It symbolizes a commitment to his hard work, dreams, and the values he instilled in the family. It is more than just a business; it's a dedication to my father's legacy, the embodiment of his love for coffee, and a celebration of the enduring importance of family, heritage, and the power of a promise.
